Mayors Call for Start of Twice Weekly Outdoor Watering

The mayors of six San Diego County cities met on June 1st at The Water Conservation Garden to call on residents to immediately cut outdoor watering to two days a week amid California’s record drought.

Mayor Kevin Faulconer was joined by the mayors of El Cajon, Escondido, Imperial Beach, Lemon Grove and Poway and discussed the mandate by the state requiring water districts to reduce water use by 2 to 36 percent. See the full story in the Times of San Diego.
