CHARLOTTE THOMAS

Charlotte currently works at Republic Services in a General Manager leadership development program. While at Republic Services, she has managed several major projects related to sustainability and community outreach, including opening a state-of-the-art compost facility at the Otay Landfill and rolling out organics recycling across the San Diego market. Prior to Republic Services, Charlotte worked in management consulting for five years in Washington, DC. Charlotte is extremely passionate about giving back and getting involved with the community through non-profits. She has worked with several non-profits, including Washington DC’s Humane Rescue Alliance, Aid Service of Austin, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, consulting on key projects and serving as a non-voting board member. Charlotte holds a bachelor’s in political economy from Princeton University and an MBA from University of Texas at Austin.
