Kathleen has over 30 years of experience as a licensed landscape architect. She has an extensive background in construction and project administration from both the private and public sectors. Currently she works for the City of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department as a Project Officer II. Her role is to supervise staff and park projects as they pertain to City, State and Federal regulations and design standards for public spaces.  As a Landscape Architect, her role involves ensuring a balance between community needs, regulatory requirements, guiding documents, and operational functionality.
