RENEE SIMPSON

Grant Writer & Customer Service Representative

Renee Simpson serves as our Grant Writer and is a Customer Service Representative in our Gift Shop. She is a seasoned non-profit professional with a passion for service and experience in higher education, project management, event programming, customer service, and grants research and writing. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado and an M.A. in Liberal Arts from San Diego State University. In her role as a Grant Writer, Renee researches grant prospects, writes proposals, and maintains our grants calendar. In addition to years of on-the-job training, she has attended numerous grant writing courses and workshops. Renee is very involved with her community and has volunteered as a youth mentor, taught elementary art classes, and chaired various P.T.A. Committees. In her free time, Renee enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, yoga, biking, walking, paddle boarding, and maintaining a home garden full of succulents and native plants.
