We are so inspired by Salk Institute plant scientist, Charlotte Miller, and just delighted to have her lead this fun, family workshop. At a recent science conference, Charlotte told a group of  San Diego high school girls that "Enthusiasm goes a long way to gaining success." We hope your kids find Flower Sessions to be a source of enthusiasm and excitement that will continue to bloom.

Suggested ages 5-10 years; older children can help with the demonstrations. Parents please note this is not a drop off class. Children are welcome to attend with supervision.  Register each participating child 5+. Space and materials are limited. Parents with younger siblings under 5 years, please use your discretion during class and take a walk of The Garden at any time as needed if attentions wander.

Storytime and workshop will be held outdoors with current safety and health protocols in place. If you'd like to purchase a copy of the book Charlotte is reading along in class, "The Tree Lady" you can find it here.  We look forward to celebrating Earth Month with you!
