How long to run your irrigation system is simple and complex at the same time. You should run your irrigation system for as long as it takes to fill the plant's root zone. No more, no less. However, several variables impact how long it takes to fill the root zone and makes this more complex. Understanding those variables and how they affect watering times is vital for precision irrigation and water conservation. During this session, Jain Irrigation's VP of Water Management Solutions shows us how to calculate irrigation run times.
During this session you will learn:
The environmental factors that impact how long to program your irrigation controller
1. How much water a plant needs
2. How much water irrigation systems provide
3. The best way to use this information to program your irrigation controller
4. Which irrigation components are best for water conservation
5. How a smart controller can do all the work for you
6. Where to find rebates for smart controllers
