Yoga of Sound with Pam Badger
Saturday, June 10
9:30-11am
In this workshop we will introduce the background of mantra music, storytelling, and the connection of these practices to the Yoga we practice on the mat. We will explore the benefits of Sound and chanting and do a gentle practice to the flow of the most ancient chant. Participants will be invited to experience sound meditation, listen to some mantra music, and learn a chant.
Yoga Instructor Pam Badger will lead this practice. She is inspired by the quote from Russill Sound, “It has been said, You do not need to be musical to benefit from the experience of singing the music of yoga. The Yoga of Sound counter-acts noise pollution to establish and maintain natural harmony in our bodies.”
