Water is essential for all life on earth. We need it to grow food, keep clean, provide power, control fire and stay alive. This Earth Day, The Water Conservation Garden has set a goal to raise $50,000 between today and #GivingTuesdayNow on May 5th to bring our award-winning Ms. Smarty-Plants™ education program online.
The Water Authority and its 24 member agencies have increased regional coordination and communication to ensure the corona virus pandemic does not impact safe and secure water service for San Diego County.
With the recent federal announcement and guidelines to stay home through April 30th The Water Conservation Garden will remained closed until further notice. As the national health crisis evolves, we will continue to assess the situation and announce a safe date for our community to return to The Water Conservation Garden, a place we have all grown to love and cherish.
We join all communities in wishing everyone remains safe during this uncertain time. I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the global coronavirus pandemic.
In order to safeguard our community members, volunteers, docents and staff, The Water Conservation Garden has closed and will be canceling all in-person meetings, workshops and events through March 31st with potential closures beyond that point.
This fund provides an important source of income that funds The Garden's beautiful exhibits, expanding plant collections and popular educational programs.
This fund provides income to repair existing exhibits and funds future exhibits in The Garden.
This fund provides resources for our Ms. Smarty-Plants™ youth education program, as well as adult education classes and workshops.
This provides funds for general operating costs.
The Garden is pleased to offer a monthly giving option. Monthly donations help The Garden by providing a consistent source of funds to maintain exhibits and provide educational programs. Your monthly gift will be deducted from your account each month until such time as you notify us to cancel.
Auto-renewal is appreciated since it provides The Garden with consistent income needed to plan for future conservation education programs and exhibits. Please help The Garden grow!
