Please describe any education, employment and/or volunteer background that you feel will contribute to The Water Conservation Garden programs along with skills in the following areas: gardening/horticulture, child or adult education, event planning, graphics design, gift shop retail, fundraising, administrative work, marketing/social media, environmental studies, and nonprofit organization.
Assist in teaching students about water conservation and changes in climate and sustainability. As an intern, you will work closely with the Education Department to learn teaching techniques, classroom management, NGSS curriculum, and sustainability practices. Idealcandidate is someone who loves the outdoors and wants to inspire young people to care for the planet!
Assist the Ms. Smarty-Plants education department in program preparations, camps, internal garden events, etc.
