Yoga in the Garden with Lisa

Yoga in The Garden is a joyful celebration of nature, and exploration of movement and breath in an alignment informed practice appropriate for all levels.

* Bring your own mat and water bottle. You may want to put a towel down, then your mat on top of that. Always good to wear layers since we are outdoors.

*Weather:  The indoor Education Center is available for a limited number of people when there is rain or inclement weather. It is best to pre-register on these days to ensure a spot in the class.

Meet the instructor:

Lisa Griffiths has been teaching yoga for 18 years. Her teaching style is joyful and inclusive, blending flow concepts with alignment sensibility. Her classes vary in type from Vinyasa to Gentle and Restorative yoga. A strong believer in mindfulness meditation, she always weaves these elements into her classes.  Additionally, Lisa leads Livestrong at the YMCA group, a fitness and wellness program for cancer survivors that include yoga and mindfulness meditation.

Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, YACEP) with Yoga Alliance.  She completed her teacher training with Yoga Works in 2006 and continues to develop her knowledge each year with continuing education. She has studied with Richard Miller to learn his iRest Yoga Nidra program and is currently working toward her 500 hr certification, studying with Tiffany Cruikshank and other YM teachers.
