Surviving and ThrivingSeed Dispersal, Discover how seeds travel! Students will learn that a seed needs to be dispersed to optimize its chance of survival. In a pre-recorded video with Ms. Smarty-Plants, they will analyze the structure of different seeds, and how it relates to their dispersal. Students will conduct experiments to discover how seeds travel from their parent plants in search of water, sunlight, and nutrients, making note of characteristics that aid in seed dispersal. During the live classroom instruction with Ms. Smarty-Plants™, students will participate in a seed dispersal game called “Hide and Seed”.

After you book your program, you will receive an automated email with password protected access to all our course material PDFs and the Ms. Smarty-Plants™ videos!
